The Power of Purpose: How Tony Created the RPM System and Transformed His Life
For years, I watched people—myself included—get caught in endless to-do lists, feeling busy but not truly fulfilled. I realized that most planning systems focus on what you have to do, not why you’re doing it. That’s when I knew there had to be a better way. I needed a system that would help me focus on what matters most, ignite my passion, and drive real results. That’s how the RPM system was born.
Are your efforts moving you forward or just keeping you busy?
Take the quizThe Birth of RPM: A System Built on Purpose
RPM stands for Results, Purpose, Massive Action. I created it in the late 1990s, during a period of explosive growth in my business and personal life. I was traveling the world, leading seminars, writing books, and building companies. My schedule was packed, and I found myself overwhelmed by the sheer volume of tasks. One day, after a particularly long stretch of back-to-back events, I sat down and asked myself: “What do I really want? What’s the outcome that would truly excite me?” That question changed everything.
Instead of focusing on tasks, I started focusing on outcomes. I asked myself, “What result do I want? Why do I want it? What’s my purpose?” And then, “What’s the most effective action I can take to get there?” That’s when the RPM system crystallized—a way to turn overwhelm into clarity, and busyness into meaningful progress.
RPM isn’t time or task management—it’s life design. Gain the clarity, momentum, and tools to take control and design a life on your terms.
